In August 2019, TerraGraphics supported the Katy Straalsund Memorial Foundation by participating in their 3rd annual “Let’s Kick Domestic Violence” kickball tournament. The Katy Straalsund Memorial Foundation (KSMF) is a non-profit organization dedicated to raising awareness and the prevention of relationship violence. With TerraGraphics support, KSMF raised the funds necessary for the establishment of the Katy Straalsund Endowed Memorial Scholarship at the University of Washington. This scholarship will be provided to an undergraduate student within the college of speech and hearing sciences, Katy’s own department and among the services she would have needed had Katy survived.
TerraGraphics has participated every year since the tournament’s inception and we look forward to continuing to do so in the future. It truly is a great time for all while supporting the “love over violence” cause the foundation promotes.
